George Coates (then manager of Kaimai Deer Farm) selected Burton from the 2003 Stanfield's Bushey Park Catalogue. In his first year Burton was given limited matings to pure Woburn hinds. We have selected only the Woburn pedigrees to carry forward into the three year old stags. One of the standout two year old heads in 2005 came from a Burton X Alfred. We have added Burton X Alfred hinds to our Woburn herd and look forward to understanding his contribution to our Woburn gene pool.
